Policy

The reserving party assumes full responsibility for the condition of the space during and after the event. Any damages to furniture, fixtures, equipment, finishes, or the property must be reported immediately. The reserving party will be financially responsible for repair or replacement costs associated with any damages incurred throughout their use.

The 7th Floor must be left in the same condition in which it was found. This includes resetting furniture to its original layout, removing all trash and personal items, and ensuring no food or catering materials are left behind. Events involving catering are required to remove all food items at the end of the reservation period.

All guests and attendees are expected to treat the space, equipment, and building personnel with respect. Misuse of equipment or intentional disregard for building guidelines may result in loss of future access to the 7th Floor.

Screen casting

For screen casting on Apple devices, begin by connecting to the Wi-Fi network “7th Floor Guest.” Make sure the TV and the Apple TV are powered on. On your iPhone or iPad, open the Control Center by swiping down from the top-right corner, then tap Screen Mirroring (or AirPlay on older devices). Select “FFB 7th Floor AppleTV” from the list, enter the on-screen code if prompted, and your device will begin mirroring. Enjoy your content while controlling playback directly from your phone or tablet.

For other devices, ensure the TVs are set to the Apple TV HDMI 1 input. You can quickly access this by pressing the TV button on the remote, which serves as a shortcut to the correct input. Once the input is set, continue with your preferred casting or streaming method.

The TV remotes are located behind the lower right side of the TVs. Please ensure all remotes are returned to their original position after use.

For additional information, the main source for content is the Apple TV, and both TVs will display the same content simultaneously. To ensure proper operation, the TVs must be set to the Apple TV HDMI 1 input, which can be quickly accessed using the TV button on the remote.

LED Wall

To make your event extra special, you can also connect to the LED Wall. Simply visit https://lumicontrols.com and take control of the lighting. The color options are endless and can be adjusted to perfectly match the mood of your event.

Audio & Microphone

If you are using an Apple device, enable AirPlay and select FFB 7th Floor from the available devices to connect. Once connected, your audio will play through the system automatically. For non-Apple devices, turn on Bluetooth and connect to the audio system located at the bar area, beside the ice machine. After successfully connecting, test your audio to ensure proper sound levels before playing music or using the microphone.

The microphones are located on the far right of the bar cabinets; look for the label to identify them. There are two microphones available. Turn the microphone on and wait for the green light to confirm it’s powered. If the microphone does not turn on, replacement batteries can be found in the same area. Once powered on, connect your device to the Wi-Fi network named 7th Floor Guest, then go to http://192.168.7.105/#/WP/637LDT8Z in your browser. From there, select Zones, select 7th Floor, choose your desired mode, and enjoy your event.

For phone connectivity, change the audio source to Bluetooth Mic. Then go to http://192.168.7.105/#/WP/637LDT8Z and select Zone Control. Click on 7th Floor, and from there you can enjoy all the different audio modes including TV casting sound, Bluetooth, microphone, or even both!

For Bluetooth connectivity, press the Bluetooth button located at the bar next to the ice maker’s music controller. Once pressed, the light will begin blinking to indicate pairing mode. Go to your phone’s Bluetooth settings and connect to the available device, or simply tap your phone on the NFC reader if supported. Just like that, you’re connected to the speakers and ready to play audio.

Amenities

Gameplay begins with a legal break, requiring at least four balls to strike a rail or a pocketed ball. If the 8-ball drops on the break, the shooter may re-rack or spot the 8-ball and continue. After the break, the table is open until a player legally pockets a ball, which then assigns solids or stripes. On each turn, the cue ball must first strike a ball from the player’s assigned group, and at least one ball must hit a rail or be pocketed. Once a player clears their group, they must call the pocket for the 8-ball—sinking it in the called pocket wins the game.

Launch the KaraFun app from the Apple TV home screen to begin. Browse the song library using the remote, explore Top Hits, genres, or themes, or search for specific artists and tracks. Select a song to play and the lyrics will display automatically. Use the settings to adjust pitch, key, or tempo for your vocal comfort. Add songs to the queue for continuous playback and rearrange the order as needed for a smooth karaoke session.

The objective is to slide your pucks into the highest-scoring zones without falling off the board or into the gutter. Each player or team uses four color-coded pucks and alternates turns, sliding by hand from behind the foul line. A puck must cross the foul line to stay in play. After all pucks are played, points are awarded based on where they land, with only the farthest puck(s) from each team counting. Pucks touching a line score the lower value, and a “hanger” over the edge earns the highest points. Players may knock opponents’ pucks to gain advantage. Games typically play to 15, 21, or another agreed score, and the first to reach it wins. If a puck doesn’t cross the foul line or falls off the board, it’s removed, and scoring disputes are resolved by measuring from the puck’s center.
